Born and bred in North Queensland, Melissa graduated from CQUniversity in 2017, completing a Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) and a Masters of Clinical Chiropractic. Over the past 6years Melissa has worked between Brisbane and Newcastle, finally deciding to make Newcastle her forever home in March 2020.
Melissa has a love of learning, as well as a strong desire and dedication to educating, empowering and nurturing the growth and neuro-development of children and their families through Chiropractic care. This has seen Melissa undertake further postgraduate paediatric studies, having completed a two year Diplomate of Chiropractic Neuro-developmental Paediatrics.
A wise man once said to her “Knowledge is Power”, and she believes that therefore knowledge about ourselves is ‘Self Empowerment’. Nothing brings her greater joy or honour then empowering people with the knowledge and understanding of their body’s true potential, which allows her to assist people in taking control of their own health and well-being through Chiropractic and holistic healthcare.
A lover of the outdoors, when not in practice, you will find Melissa seeking out her next
adventure (usually with her camera in hand) exploring from the mountain tops to the beaches and everything else our beautiful region has to offer.
